This group has grown a lot since we started it  2 years ago, and some things are not working as it should. I would like to get some inputs from you all on how we should fix it.

1. The Time Limits
Every week I get 10-30 submissions, and I try to only accept once a week, so I won't continuously spam your folders. This time stamp has been automatinc, meaning that if you submit wrongly you will still have to wait another week.

Is one week stamp enough, and are you still looking at the entries? Or have everyone in the group already unwatched the incoming entries? What would be the best solution?

2. Wrongly submitted pieces.
A lot of you don't understand what folders things should be put in, and since this is something I do in my spare time, I will not move things around for you. That takes much time. Now I just reject everything that is wrong, and if you ask why you got rejected I will tell you why.

I do however realize that there are times when it is hard to know exactly which folder would be correct, such as the boundaries between fantasy/surreal and surreal/abstract. In these cases you can ask me, look through the folders and see what is already there, or you can send it to other. The only folder I accept some wrong submissions to is the Other folder, as that hints to you not knowing where it should go.

3. Image Quality.
At the moment, our group rules states "Only good photo quality that are properly cropped" What this imples is that you should be able to print the image the way it is to put it up on the wall without having to do any extra editing. This is a group for finished works.

I do realize some of you have a big preference for adding frames, or have painted on surfaces that aren't croppable. If you have a non rectangular surface, make sure your background is not distracting from the piece, and a plain white/black background would be preffered. Again, If you have questions - ask.

4. Skill Quality
At the moment we don't have any limits when it comes to skills, as this is a group which will encourage everyone. However some good pieces that we consider inspirational will now and then be added to the Featured folder.

5. The Featured folder.
Nowdays I and SiberianLizard pick all the featured paintings. Back a year ago I suggested that people would nominate paintings for this folder, and I have yet to see anyone suggesting a piece. I guess this implies that you guys don't care who's there? Is there a better way to do it? Ideas?

I also try to always show something from all folders and styles, to keep the featured entries interesting for everyone.

6. Admins
We are now two admins.
I'm not sure if there should be more? Maybe it should? What do you guys think?

7. Twitter
Just added the Group Twitter Feature to our page, so if you want us to include your twitter adress there, just leave a message here and I'll fix it at once!
